Sono qua a presentarvi Dolcedesiderio e Living Lavender, le mie 2 nuove fragranze.
Questi profumi rappresentano una ulteriore crescita nella mia ricerca e sensibilità olfattiva. Il viaggio intrapreso circa 5 anni fa si arricchisce di nuove nozioni e di nuove conoscenze che sono state trasferite in questi ultimi lavori.

DolceDesiderio e il racconto di una notte d'amore.

 All’inizio di questa estate fui contattato dall’organizzatrice di un evento artistico basato sulla lettura di un racconto francese di fine ‘700, “Senza Domani” dello scrittore, artista, diplomatico e viaggiatore Dominique Vivant Denon.

La richiesta richiesta era di fare una fragranza per l’evento, un filo olfattivo tra la scena e il pubblico. Accettai e mi misi all’opera sia leggendo il testo sia intervistando l’attrice che si sarebbe immedesimata nel contesto del poema.
Una lettura “erotica” classica del periodo pre-rivoluzionario francese, (per chi volesse approfondire può seguire questo link) che racconta delle gesta di una certa Madame de T..(i nomi sono già rimaneggiati nel testo originale) che decide di godere per una notte di un giovane amante di una sua amica, la Contessa di..

Con “Senza Domani”  si intende, quindi, il piacere della passione di poche ore passate in intimità di cui poi non resterà altro, all’indomani mattina, che il ricordo nella mente dei protagonisti...
La trama si svolge negli ambienti e giardini del castello del marito della Madame de T..e culmina nella stanza degli amori del castello dove, nella scena dell’arrivo notturno nell’alcova, la Madame de T..si presenta al giovane in tutta la sua bellezza con in mano una rosa del giardino, fresca e fragrante..

questa l’ispirazione per Dolcedesiderio, profumo che porta in se le caratteristiche olfattive dell’epoca: odori opulenti, talcati, dolci su cui ho “poggiato” rose dai sentori speziati e sensuali.

Un profumo ricco, con un fondo vanigliato che circonda l’aura rosata, per farsi certamente notare.
A tutti partecipanti dell’evento “Senza Domani” fu consegnata una mouillette odorosa ed a fine serata fu fatto omaggio di un campione della fragranza creata.

Il lato dolce della Lavanda

Sono molto affezionato al tema lavanda: con questa materia prima ho iniziato i primi passi nella costruzione di profumi.

L’ho lavorata, distillata, sezionata analiticamente e studiato i diversi componenti chimici di cui è fatta...fa parte preponderante delle mie memorie olfattive.
Con Living Lavender ho voluto assopire il lato aromatico della lavanda e donarle, allo stesso tempo, una caratteristica dolce, lavorando su un accordo fresco-balsamico-vanigliato.

 il risultato è una nota carezzevole che si addolcisce e per certi aspetti diventa quasi fruttata.
Una interpretazione sicuramente più matura della “mia” Lavanda.

I am going to introduce my 2 new fragrances, Dolcedesiderio and Living Lavender.

These 2 fragrances represent a further growth in my personal olfactive research and sensilbility. The journey started 5 years a go is enriched by new knowlegde that is transferred in these last works.

DolceDesiderio (SweetDesire) and the tale of a night of love

 at the beginning of summer, i was contacted by the organizer of an artistic event based on a french tale of the late 17th century, named “Senza Domani” (No Tomorrow) written by the artist, writer, diplomat and traveller Dominique Vivant Denon.

I was asked to make a fragrance for the event, an olfactive string between the scene and the public. i accepted and started the work reading the text first and then interviewing the actress. A classical “erotic” story  of the pre-revolutionary french period  that tells about the deeds of Madame de T..(all the names are revised in the original text) that decide to have a one night love affair with a young man lover of a friend of her, the Countess of..

So the meaning of Senza Domani (No Tomorrow) is that of few hours of intimacy pleasure that, on the day after, will not leave anything but the memories into the characters mind.

The story develops in the rooms and the gardens of the castle of Madame de T..’s husband and culminate in the love-room of the castle where Madame de T show herself to her young lover in all her beauty, with a rose from the garden in her hand, fresh and fragrant.

this was the inspiration for Dolcedesiderio, a perfume that carry inside the olfactive characteristics of the time: opulent odors, very powdery, sweet where i layed spicy and sensual roses.
a rich perfume, with a vanilla flavour base that surrounds the rose aura, to be surely noted.

The main raw materials

Dolcedesiderio scent was given on a blotter poured into the fragrance and at the end of the event was gifted as sample to all the partecipants.

i am very fond to the lavender theme: with this raw material i started my first steps into the perfume world. i have worked with it, distillated, analitical sectioned it, and studied the several chemical components that is made of...by now it has a special part in my olfactive memories.

so here i work on the reduction of the aromatic side of lavender and give at the same time a sweet characteristic, working on a fresh, balsamic-vanilled accord.

 the result is a fresh and caressing note that sweeten and for some aspects become almost fruity. A mature intepretation for “my” Lavender.

JASMINE AND TUBEROSE FIELDS FOREVER

In realtà la famosa canzone dei Beatles recitava “Strawberry fields forever”, Campi di Fragole per sempre: ma di fronte a questo spettacolo di bellezza nelle distese di questi fiori non si puo non cantare il motivo cambiando il ritornello..
Il rinnovato interesse per la tuberosa, il ritorno alla coltivazione di questo fiore dal profumo opulento, intenso, narcotico: questa è la novità che abita a Grasse ed nei suoi campi di periferia.

L’aria è sempre soavemente profumata e la raccolta procede veloce ogni giorno. 

In alcune scene sembra di ritornare alle vedute della Grasse del 18 secolo, quando tutto il paese e l’immediato intorno era un giardino che serviva l’industria del profumo in ogni stagione.

Lontano dai frenetici e commerciali negozi della città, dove la semplice curiosità dei turisti per un giorno è alla ricerca "Del" Profumo, questa atmosfera antica si respira ancora dove c'è l’operosità dell’uomo atta alla cattura degli odori delle piante e che rende Grasse magica.

Ho avuto ancora una volta la possibilità di partecipare a questi momenti e rendere le mie Esperienze Olfattive sempre più ricche.

JASMINE AND TUBEROSE FIELDS FOREVER

The famous Beatles’s song sings “Strawberry fields forever”, but looking at this beauty show of this flowers fields you cannot stop singing the song changing the refrain..

The renewed interest for tuberoses cultivated in Grasse, the coming back to the growing of this flower with an opulent, intense and narcotic scent: this is the novelty that live in Grasse now and in his periphery.

The air is always gently scented around the fields and the flowers picking goes by fast every day from 6 am to 1 pm, the hour that rule the stop and following weighting of the picked flowers.
In some views seems there is the flash back of 18th century Grasse sight, when all the town and the periphery was a garden supporting the perfume industry in every season.

Far away from the chaotic and commercial shops of the city, where the tourist’s curiosity for a day looking for "the Perfume", this old atmosphere is breathed where there is still the man busyness capturing the flowers' scent to restore Grasse’s magic.

I had again the opportunity to take part to this moments and let my Olfactive Experiences more and more enriched.

Il Viaggio

Dopo 5 mesi ritorno ad aggiornare il mio blog: non avevo abbandonato il mio spazio profumato sul web. Sono stati 5 mesi in cui ho iniziato un cammino inteso a trovare un posto più preciso alle mie EsperienzeOlfattive, a dare una forma più definita alla mia passione.

Ho viaggiato, conosciuto persone nuove, rivisto amici, organizzato eventi. Ho sperimentato nuove e vecchie idee legate alle mie esperienze e alle mie visioni personali,  conversato su argomenti olfattivi con persone già affermate in profumeria.

Ora questo viaggio mi sta riportando dove tutto è cominciato 4 anni fa, in quel luogo del mito per chiunque abbia la passione del profumo. Ancora rivedrò amici, incontrerò nuove persone e rivisiterò luoghi da osservare con occhi diversi.

In questo spazio ho sempre parlato delle storie che mi hanno personalmente emozionato (persone, fiori, profumi, odori, eventi) e dei temi a cui mi sento più vicino professionalmente  (coltivazione, distillazione ed ottenimento materie prime).

Lo farò ancora e più spesso.

Un grazioso libro, in mezzo ad altri, mi ha accompagnato in questo viaggio, una lettura leggera ed al tempo stesso intrigante, vivamente consigliata. L’autore, con maestria ed eleganza, racconta delle strategie erotiche dei fiori per sedurre gli insetti e farsi impollinare, intrigante quanto le righe del best-seller dell’estate, per chi sa apprezzare le cose davvero semplici e rimanere affascinato e coinvolto dalle evoluzioni floreali della seduzione..

The Journey

After 5 months i am back to update my blog: i haven't leaved my fragrant space on the web. Was 5 months were i started a journey meant to search for a more precise place for my EsperienzeOlfattive, to give a better shape to my passion. 

I travelled, met new persons, friends, organized perfumed events, experimented new and old ideas bind to my experiences and personal visions, discussed about olfactive matter with people already successful in perfumery.

Now this journey is bringing me back where all started 4 years ago, in the myth-land for everyone has the fragrant passion. Again i will meet friends, new persons, and will visit lands already seen to watch with new eyes.

In this virtual space i talk always about stories that move me (people,flowers, odors, events) and about the themes to which i am more in touch professionally (raw materials coltivation and distillation).

I will do it more and often.

A nice little book, together with others, had came along with me in this journey, a good read and, at the same time, intriguing, something to suggest.

The writer, with mastery and elegance, tell us about the flower’s erotic strategies to seduce the insects and pollinate them; charming and for who appreciate the simple things and stay fascinated and involved by the flowers seductive evolutions..

UN ESPLORATORE DELL'ANIMA: MEO FUSCIUNI

 Ci sono momenti in cui si entra in sintonia con persone che nemmeno conosci e che, dopo averci scambiato insieme alcune parole, senti che è animato dalla tua stessa passione: questo è capitato con Giuseppe Imprezzabile, al secolo Meo Fusciuni, Aromatario e Esploratore sensoriale dell’anima.

...Aromatario....all'inizio 2011 avevo sentito parlare delle sue prime fragranze e avevo letto questa parola nella sua presentazione: lavorare con gli aromi, le essenze e definirsi Aromatario mi sembrò all’inizio una cosa un pò frivola, se non altro, un modo diverso di chiamare il profumiere; ma in realtà ho capito poi che questa parola celava l’essere “artigiano” delle essenze, in una forma davvero sincera, amorevole e rispettosa delle armonie degli odori.

Quindi l’incontro: è successo a firenze a Fragranze 2011, lo scorso settembre. Pronto ad accogliere e a far provare a tutti la sua prima linea di profumi “le note di viaggio”, sempre sorridente: ascoltavo la storia delle 3 fragranze e le provavo sulle mouillette.

- 1a nota di viaggio ovvero Rite de Passage, fresca e calda nelle sue note agrumate, fiorite e infine legnose, omaggio a Istambul, ariosa e aperta, anello di congiunzione dell’est verso ovest.

- 2a nota di viaggio ossia Shukran, un thè alla menta mentre si parla attorno al tavolo del locale dove il fumo del tabacco unisce nel vociare del Marocco, in un suk o su una terrazza guardando la piazza brulicante di umanità.

- 3a nota di viaggio con arrivo in Sicilia, terra d’origine del Nostro Meo, Ciavuru d’Amuri che ci accoglie alle dolci note del fico e gelsomino, candido e caloroso ambiente dove, per ora, si arresta il viaggio geografico.
E abbiamo parlato di materie prime, di fonti d’ispirazione e di luoghi lontani.

Oggi, con la sua eleganza compositiva, Giuseppe ha messo in linguaggio olfattivo con Notturno il suo intimo essere, traducendo in note olfattive momenti poetici in cui egli si riconosce. Fragranza che io ho definito al primo sniffo fumosa, mi arriva poi metallica, e dopo le note dolci iniziali è...presente. Presente...così come l’inchiostro che lascia il suo segno indelebile, cosi Notturno lascia la sua evocazione di un luogo in cui luce e buio coesistono. Non è differente solo come odore, fragranza: c’e anima dentro. C’è la volontà di essere qualcosa ed essere presente. Ed è questo essere presente che mi emoziona, la costruzione olfattiva dell’ essere di Meo Fusciuni e la definizione fisica della fragranza.

L’emozione di sentire qualcosa di vivo, mutevole, sia nelle parole dell’Aromatario che nell’evoluzione stessa della fragranza è ancora una volta segno che per fare qualcosa di veramente diverso oggi nella profumeria d’autore non serve solo la costruzione di un brand, appiccicarci sopra una storia spesso inventata, traducendo un brief  sterile che ricalca solo gli stereotipi della moda del momento...No, non c’e anima in questo, non c’e quella sostanza che invece dovrebbe essere viva e farti esprimere cose diverse dal solo MI piace/Non mi piace, Buono/non buono.

quindi dico BRAVO MEO, e grazie di essere un Aromatario!!!!!

A SOUL'S EXPLORER: MEO FUSCIUNI

 There are sometimes when we are in tune with persons you do not know and that, just after exchanged some talks, you feel him/her animated by the same passion: this happens with Giuseppe Imprezzabile aka Meo Fusciuni, Aromatario and Explorer of the soul.

..Aromatario..at the beginning of 2011 i heard about his first fragrances and i readed this word in his presentatio and this hit me: working with essences, and defining himself as Aromatario seems to me frivoulus, a different way to say perfumer; but later i realize that this word hide the being the essence’s artisan, but in a very sincere way, loving and respectful of odor’s harmony.

So we met: happened in Florence at Fragranze 2011, last september: Ready to welcome and let try to everybody his first perfume line “The Journey Notes” he was always smiling: i listen to the story about the fragrances and sniff them on the blotter.
- 1st journey note: Rite de Passage, fresh and warm on its citrus, floral and then woody notes, tribute to Istambul breezy and open, bridge between east to west
- 2nd journey note: Shukran, a mint tea while talking talking around a table of a place where tobacco smoke join the Morocco’s voices, ina suk or on a terrace, looking at the square swarming of uhmanity
- 3rd journey note: arriving in Sicily, Meo’s homeland with Ciavuru d’Ammuri, that welcome us with  the sweet fig and jasmine notes, pure and warm atmosphere where, for now, the journey stops.

We talked about raw materials, source of inspiration and far lands.

Today, with his creation’s grace, Giuseppe with Notturno, his new fragrance, has translated in olfactive language his intimacy, translating in olfactive notes some poetic moments where he recognize himself.

Fragrance that i defined at the first sniff smocky, then arrive to me metallic and after the first sweet notes becomes... present. Present...as the ink that left its permanent sign, so Notturno recall a place where light and darkness coexist. Not different only as odor, as fragrance: there is soul inside, there is the will to be something and want to be present. and is this presence that touch me: Meo Fusciuni’s olfactive construction and his physical definition.

 The emotion to feel something alive, changeable, even in the Aromatario’s words than in the same physical evolution of the fragrance, is again the sign that to do something really different today in artistic perfumery you do not need only the building of a brand, sticking on that a story, often invented, translating a steril brief that follow only the clichè of the moment...No, there is no soul in doing this, there is no the essence that instead should be alive and let you express different things from the only i like/i do not like, good/no good...

so, i say BRAVO Meo Fusciuni, and thank you to be an Aromatario!!!

MARIA CANDIDA GENTILE: UNA EMOZIONE DI NOME LADY DAY

Non sono solito fare recensioni di fragranze: ma quando c’è di mezzo una emozione, una carica sinestetica forte, quando ti ritrovi a tu per tu con l’autrice di ciò e senti che il suo racconto si trasmuta li davanti a te in qualcosa di vivo e reale, allora non mi posso tirare indietro.
Maria Candida Gentile l’avevo incontrata la prima volta alla 2 Edizione di Exsence: ero alla ricerca di una rosa per me e sniffavo tutto quello che trovavo relativo alla regina dei fiori. Lei sempre sorridente e io a provare la sua rose:...incanto, e Cinabre è diventata anche mia. Ho sempre conservato la piacevolezza e la semplicità di quell’ incontro nei miei ricordi.

 
Exsence 2012: Lei è sempre sorridente e cara nell’accogliere i visitatori e, aspettato il mio turno, sono stato introdotto alle nuove fragranze mostrate qua in anteprima che vedranno la luce ufficiale il prossimo autunno, da settembre 2012.

 
Luberon: la fragranza dedicata alla Provenza, dominata dalla nota di lavanda che qui è per me secca, selvatica, accattivante, mai dominante: la freschezza di un paesaggio solare.
Burlesque: fragranza che acquista vigore in un crescendo mai volgare ma delicato. Semplice ma di grande effetto...Burlesque appunto!!
Gentile: dedicata al figlio, dove le note agrumate sono legate al cuore geranio/osmantus, dominando il tutto con maestria. Mai opulento
Lady Day: appassionata di musica Jazz, Maria Candida dedica questa fragranza alla cantante Billie Holiday, che non saliva mai sul palco senza un fiore di gardenia nei capelli. E’ la fragranza che mi ha preso di più, e che mi ha fatto letteralmente esultare.
Amore, gioia, emozione: queste le sensazioni scoprendo questa fragranza. Più la sentivo e più ne volevo. Questa gardenia piccola, che nasce in quel di settembre, ultima fioritura dell’anno, piccola e bagnata, coperta di rugiada al mattino: sembra di vederla spuntare esattamente dove la fragranza è stata spruzzata.

Maria Candida l’ha studiata ogni mattina nel giardino di casa, cogliendo, a mio parere, ogni sfumatura di questo fiore bianco, dal verde dell’inizio fioritura al bagnato di rugiada avendo sempre come sfondo quel giardino mattutino.

Grazie Maria Candida Gentile, grazie per questa emozione forte che si rinnova ogni volta che sento il profumo che sprigiona da alcune gocce del prezioso liquido di cui mi hai fatto dono.

MARIA CANDIDA GENTILE: AN EMOTION CALLED LADY DAY

I am not used to write fragrance’s reviews: but when there is emotion, a strong sinestetic charge, when you are in front at the fragrance’s artist and you feel that the story you are listening to transmute in front of you in something real and alive, then i cannot step aside.
First time I met Maria Candida Gentile was at the 2nd Exsence edition: i was looking for a rose fragrance for me and i was sniffing everything with the queen of flowers inside. She was always smiling and me trying her Rose fragrance: ...magic and Cinabre become mine too. I saved the pleasantness and simpleness of that encounter in my memory.

Exsence 2012: she was always smilling and sweet receiving the perfume passionates and after had wait for my turn, i was introduced to her new fragrances, showed here in preview that will be officially launched next autumn, from september 2012.

Luberon: this fragrance is dedicated to Provence’s region, dominated by a lavender note that i feel here dry, wild, catchy, never prevailing: a sunny land’s freshness.
Burlesque: fragrance that gain vigour in a crescendo that is never coarse but delicate. easy but impressive...exactly burlesque!!!
Gentile: dedicated to his son, where the citrus notes are bound to the geranium/osmantus heart, dominating all with mastery. Never opulent.
Lady Day: as jazz passionate, Maria Candida Gentile dedicate this fragrance to the jazz and blues singer Billie Holiday, that never went on stage without a gardenia flower in her hair. It is the fragrance that catches me up and that let me literally exult.
Love, Joy, emotion: these are the sensations discovering the fragrance. The more i sniffed it, more i wanted it. This small gardenia, that come out in september, last flowering of the year, small and moist, covered by the morning dew: seems to see it that comes out exactely from the place where it is sprayed out.
 
Maria Candida studied the flower every morning in her house’s garden, capturing, from my point of view, every nouance of this white flower, from the greeness fo the initial flowering to the dew wetness, having as background the morning garden.
 
Thank you Maria Candida Gentile, thank you for this strong emotion that is renewed everytime i smell the perfume that come out from some drops of the precious liquid you donate me.

ESXENCE 2012 e due grandi emozioni olfattive

Quest’anno avevo deciso di dedicare più tempo all’evento della profumeria di primavera Milanese per non essere costretto a corse forsennate e potermi godere con tranquillità alcuni delle conferenze programmate. 3 giornate in relax a scambiare opinioni sul mondo della profumeria con il piacere di rivedere e parlare con amici cari e anche di conoscere persone nuove.
Il tempo è passato piacevolmente e nemmeno mi ricordo le volte che ho rifatto il giro degli stand, non solo per annusare le fragranze che hanno attirato la mia attenzione, ma anche per osservare il movimento d’assieme dell’evento.

Questo mi ha dato l’opportunità d selezionare, assaporare ed emozionarmi con 2 bellissimi profumi, magistrali costruzioni olfattive: ma prima di dirvi chi e cosa, 2 parole sul mio Esxence.

Una delle mie tappe principali è stata la postazione dell’Osmoteque, vera miniera di conoscenza olfattiva mondiale. per le mie incursioni ho scelto di riassaggiare nelle mie 3 giornate alcuni tesori della profumeria della prima metà del 900: 3 Coty (Origan, Chypre e Iris) e 3 Guerlain (Shalimar, Mitsouko e Apres l’Ondee). Ho “ascoltato” questi classici mentre mi sono ritrovato con l’italianissimo padrone di casa e amico Cristiano Canali.
2 interessanti conferenze, sempre a cura dell’Osmoteque, sulla storia e sull’uso dell’Iris e dell’Hedione in profumeria, con “assaggio” delle materie prime e delle fragranze che le contenevano un vero flashback storico attraverso il tempo.
Un piccolo stand quello di Osmoteque, ma una grande finestra sul passato remoto e prossimo della profumeria mondiale, una occasione che ogni appassionato deve sfruttare con bramosia di conoscenza.

Partecipare agli eventi di Mouillette&Co e della sua regista Maria Grazia Fornasiero è sempre un piacere: quest’anno in collaborazione con Teresa Sintoni di Parsifal Idee per il benessere, mediante l’ausilio di una mini sessione di rilassamento e respirazione yoga, siamo stati portati ad espandere ed acuire la facoltà olfattiva per la descrizione delle diverse essenze che, di volta in volta, venivano portate al nostro respiro.
Un modo divertente ed educativo di condivisione dell’esperienza olfattiva.

Andy Tauer è come un fratello maggiore per me, familiare, rassicurante: la gioia di incontrarlo e parlarli è sempre grande e non basterebbero giorni interi per esaurire gli argomenti che sorgono sempre spontanei durante i nostri incontri. Lui era di passaggio a Milano per la presentazione presso la profumeria Profumo in via Brera del suo nuovo profumo Miriam per la linea Tableau de Parfum. Ho avuto anche modo di mostrargli i miei lavori e lui mi ha menzionato nel suo blog. Grazie Andy.
Andy è stato anche il tramite per fare la conoscenza di Spyros Drosopoulos di Magnetic Scent, un giovane profumiere bravo di cui sentiremo parlare presto: fragranze molto belle con accenti  decisamente originali.

Ho trovato l’offerta di fragranze abbastanza lineare, pochi nomi nuovi ed una omologazione a dire poco inaspettata: l’unica cosa importante in questo momento storico sembra quello di lanciare un brand, fare una serie di brief sostanzialmente allineati alle mode olfattive attuali, creare una storia a supporto ed eccoti la nuova forma nella scena fragrantica, per me abbastanza neutra, senza grande emozione e senza solide basi...

Nel complesso una edizione questa di Esxcence di transizione, non tantissima gente nemmeno al sabato e domenica, si camminava tranquillamente tra gli stand dove gli operatori sembravano molto piu disposti verso gli appassionati sia come quantità di informazioni che di campioncini.

Anche se in questo contesto, sono riuscito a cogliere due fiori in questa pianura uniforme, due emozioni che hanno lasciato un segno nella mia esperienza olfattiva:

Maria Candida Gentile e Meo Fusciuni.

ESXENCE 2012 AND 2 GREAT OLFACTIVE EMOTIONS

This year I decided to devote more time to the Milan spring perfumery’s event so that i was  not forced to mad runs and to be able to enjoy evenly some of the programmed lectures. 3 relaxing days to exchange opinions on the world of perfumery with the pleasure to see again and to talk to dear friends and also to meet new people.
The time has passed pleasantly and I doesn't even remember all the times that I turn around the stands, not only to sniff the fragrances that attracted my attention, but also to observe all together the movement around the event.

This has given me the opportunity to select, to taste and to excite me with 2 beautiful perfumes, magistral olfactive constructions: but before telling you who and what, some words on my Esxence 2012.

 
One of my principal stops was the Osmoteque’s stand, true mine of the olfactive knowledge’s world. For my 3 days raids I have chosen to re-taste some treasures of the early 900’s perfumery: 3 Cotys (Origan, Chypre and Iris) and 3 Guerlains (Shalimar, Mitsouko and Apres l’Ondee). I have "listened" to these classical ones while meeting again with the Italian landlord and friend Cristiano Canali.
2 interesting conferences by Osmoteque about the story and use of Iris and Hedione in perfumery, with a “tasting” of the raw materials and most of the scents that contain them, a real history flashback.
A small stand Osmoteque’s, but a great window on the remote and next past of the world perfumery, an occasion that every passionate must exploit with greed of knowledge.

Participating to Mouillette&Co’s events and of her director Maria Grazia Fornasiero is always a pleasure: this year, in collaboration with Teresa Sintoni of Parsifal Idee per il Benessere, with the aid of a mini relaxation session and yoga breathing, we have been brought to expand and to sharpen our olfactive faculty to let us the describe the different essences that were brought to our breath. An amusing and educational way of sharing of the olfactive experience.

 
Andy Tauer is as the older brother for me, familiar, cheering: the joy to meet and to speak to  him is always great and there would not be enough whole days to exhaust the matters that always rise spontaneous during our meetings. He was of passage to Milan for the presentation at the perfumery Perfume in the via Brera of his new perfume Miriam made for Tableau de Parfum line. I have also had the opportunity to show him my works and he has mentioned me in his blog. Thank you so much Andy.
Andy has also been the medium for my knowing of Spyros Drosopoulos of Magnetic Scent, a young perfumer of which we will hear from soon: very beautiful fragrances with original accents definitively.

I have found the offer of fragrances quite linear, few new names and a homologation, so to say, unexpected: the only important thing in this historical economical moment seems that to launch a brand, making several briefs substantially lined up to today’s olfactive fashions, to create a synthetic story to support and here you have the new form in the fragrantica scene, for me quite neutral, without great emotion and without solid bases...
Overall, in this Esxcence edition of transition, not as many people even on Saturday and Sunday quietly walking among the stands where the operators seemed very more prepared toward the passionates both as quantity of information that of samples.

Even if in this context, I have succeeded in gathering two flowers in this uniformed lowland, two emotions that have left a sign in my olfactive experience:

Maria Candida Gentile and Meo Fusciuni.

Anche quest'anno sarò alla 4a Edizione di ESXENCE, the Scent of Excellence, organizzata a Milano presso La Permanente in via Turati.

Snifferò profumi e parlerò con tutte le persone che conosco del mondo della profumeria.

Tra venerdi 30 marzo, sabato 31 e domenica 1 aprile, farò il pieno di profumi, parole e sorrisi.

This year i will be at the 4th Edition of ESXENCE, the Scent of excellence, organized in Milan at La Permanente in Turati street.

I will sniff perfumes and talk with all the people i know in the perfumery world.

Between the 30th of March friday, the 31st saturday and April the 1st sunday, i'll be fuel-up of perfumes, exchanging views and smiles.
